Camarones Al Ajillo

For the cream
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 12 large minced garlic cloves (about 1/2 cup)
- ¼ cup onion chopped
- ¼ cup white wine
- 2 (7.2 ounce cans) of Media Crema or table cream (Substitute for 1.5 cup of heavy cream)
- Fresh cilantro chopped (for garnish)
In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and sauté until fragrant and soft.
Pour in the white wine and simmer for 2 minutes.
Add shrimp and cook until pink and C-shaped, about 2 to 3 minutes per side.
Stir in media crema/table cream and let simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly. Season with more salt and pepper to taste.
Garnish with chopped cilantro, if desired.
