Roasted Garlic Cheesy Bread

A delicious, crunchy roasted garlic bread

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Italian Bread
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter
  • 2 bulbs fresh garlic
  • 1 tbsp parsley
  • 1 teaspooon italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 cup gouda or cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • To roast garlic at 400°F, slice the top off a whole bulb, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 35–40 minutes until golden and buttery soft.
  • Make the compound butter by adding roasted garlic to the softened butter. Then add in Italian seasoning, honey, and salt. Mix until smooth.
  • Next, Slice Italian bread in half. Add half of the compound mixture on one side, and the other on the other slide.
  • Layer with gouda and mozzarella until completely covered.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes or until cheese is fully melted. Then broil on low for 2 minutes (watching careful not to burn until bread is bubbly and golden brown)
