To roast garlic at 400°F, slice the top off a whole bulb, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 35–40 minutes until golden and buttery soft.
Make the compound butter by adding roasted garlic to the softened butter. Then add in Italian seasoning, honey, and salt. Mix until smooth.
Next, Slice Italian bread in half. Add half of the compound mixture on one side, and the other on the other slide.
Layer with gouda and mozzarella until completely covered.
Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes or until cheese is fully melted. Then broil on low for 2 minutes (watching careful not to burn until bread is bubbly and golden brown)
