Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tbsp butter use ghee, or oil
  • 1/2 cup milk warm
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup yogurt

Other Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp garlic minced fine
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 cup shredded mozarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt. Then, slowly add in milk, yogurt, butter.
  2. Use your hands to mix, and begin kneading on a hard surface until dough turns soft and smooth. If your dough is too dry, add olive oil to your hands. If your dough is too sticky, add flour to your hands!
  3. After the dough is smooth, Separate the dough into 6-8 peices.
  4. Take one of the dough parts, roll it out until soft and smooth, and add 2 tbsps of cheese into the center. Then, seal the dough into a ball and roll it out for the second time. Your cheese may pop out of the dough a little, but that’s perfectly normal!
  5. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic and cilantro for topping.
  6. On a medium high heat, add oil to a pan, and cook the naan on each side, for about 1-2 minutes. Cooking times may vary depending on the thickness of the dough.
  7. Baste the naan with garlic, butter, cilantro mixture.
