Toni Chapman is a culinary content producer, social media celebrity, and author based in Miami, Florida. She draws her inspirations for recipes from her Afro-Latina heritage and homestyle foods she grew up with. When she’s not in the kitchen, Toni loves to travel and experience new cultures. In the past few years alone, she’s traveled to over 25 different countries and enjoys sharing her culinary travel experiences and excursions online as well.
Toni is the founder of Tonicooks, a popular meal-delivery service in the NYC area, which has served nearly 27,000 customers to date. Prior to shifting full time to focus on her own work, Toni was a Producer and Resident On-Camera Talent at Buzzfeed’s Tasty where she starred in countless long and short form video series for the media brand.
Toni has accumulated over 3 million followers and hundreds of millions of views and impressions across her library of online recipe content. Toni’s priority platforms online include Instagram and TikTok where her short form recipe videos live.
Aside from cooking, Toni is passionate about family, business, and fitness.
What inspires my love for cooking?
My passions are widespread, and I have many things that influence my love of food. I’m a true lover of people and the energy they bring into my life.
One of my favorite things to do is entertain friends at my place. I love to create unique dishes that they’ll never forget, along with decadent desserts to keep them coming back. Food and drink are indeed the spice of life.
Cooking is my passion, and teaching people how to make delicious meals brings me so much joy. I’ve been cooking since I was six years old and spent most of my life in the kitchen. My cooking style is cozy, homey, and familiar, and comfort food is what I do best!
