I love peach season because peach cocktails like this peach & whiskey sunrise are amazing! This is a delicious, refreshing, sweet, and smoky drink that’s perfect for warm days and cool nights. It’s easy to make, and even easier to drink 😉
Why You’ll Love This Cocktail
The Peach & Whiskey Sunrise is more than just a pretty drink; it’s a harmonious blend of flavors that offers:
- Sweetness: The natural sweetness of peach juice provides a fruity base.
- Smokiness: Whiskey adds a smoky depth that balances the sweetness.
- Visual Appeal: The layered effect of the ingredients creates a sunrise-like appearance in the glass.
Things to Note
- Buy ripe peaches- Grab your peaches, they should be soft, but not too soft
- Use a cocktail strainer or a mason jar to shake– Don’t skip this step, the best drinks need ot be shaken with ice.
- Use a good whiskey – I like Sir Davis or Uncle Nearest, but you can use Four Roses or even Jack Daniel’s!
Ingredients
- Whiskey- Use what you have!
- Peaches- Ripe and sweet!
- Grenadine- This adds that beautiful sunrise effect!
- Ice- I like to use the pebble ice! You can buy it from Chick fil A for $2 a bag!
Serving Suggestions
This cocktail pairs wonderfully with grilled meats, spicy dishes, or as a standalone aperitif. Its vibrant appearance and balanced flavors make it a crowd-pleaser at gatherings or a delightful treat for a quiet evening.
Note: Always enjoy responsibly.
