  • 6 Bone-in Chicken Thighs Skin on
  • 1/2 juice lemon
  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • zest of a lemon


  • 1 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp chicken bouillon seasoning optional


  • In a small bowl, mix together spices, oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley and honey.
  • Coat the bone-in chicken thighs with the marinade until fully incorporated. Marinate for 30 minutes or up to overnight.
  • Slice a lemon into thin rounds, and place them on top of the chicken.
  • Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes at 375°F, or until the chicken is fully cooked

    This was absolutely amazing. The taste & the juiciness this chicken was great. I’ve been having trouble eating meat and this was the first time I ate my own cooked meat in almost a year.     I had chicken breast, and didn’t have lemon or parsley but wanted to season my chicken breast different. BOMB!

    I tried this recipe twice in one week. It was that good! The first time I paired the chicken with white rice l, the second was with mushroom risotto.     I just made this and it tastes sooooo good. I’m not even a lemon pepper person. Very well seasoned. I used salt free Mrs Dash. The only thing I would change is decreasing the salt just a little bit.
